CuriousIT offers Virtual Support as a Support Service. This means there is no retainer charge for a support contract. Support is available on a case by case basis by request. This support will generally fall in to one of the following categories;

Remote Login

Remote Login is operated though Join.Me. Join.Me is a remote login software which allows you to generate a one-time-only, 9 digit code which can be given to others so they can log in and view your screen as you see it. You can also give control of your screen to another viewer. Once you close the session, the code becomes invalid and can't be used again to remotely view your screen. The code also has a time out feature, so if it isn't used within a certain time frame, it becomes invalid automatically.

The other method way is through TeamViewer software. This is downloaded onto your computer by one of our engineers. Once configured, it allows our engineers to login remotely without you needing to be present. To control your computer requires a login name and password on both sides. This leaves a high level of security while still allowing for repairs that don't take up your time having to be there to grant access.

Per Hour $50

Pre-care involves updating your current infrastructure (hardware and software) and preparing any other technical items you might need in order to begin tutoring. This is typically a call-out to review your current equipment and another call-out to setup the new equipment.

After-care is for general upkeep and troubleshooting after the tutoring or setup is complete.

This is most often achieved by installing a program on your computer that allows us to remotely access your computer from a different location. This program can be installed during set-up, on any call-outs or sometimes remotely. It only takes a few minutes and means if you decide to use this service later on is is readily available As this option does not require a call-out, it is less costly.
